Interests
When I’m not working and collaborating on creative projects I try to immerse myself fully in downtime activities, especially anything that gets me outdoors; yoga and meditation, reading, gardening, cycling, hiking, and camping. I enjoy studying in my own time, fleshing out my knowledge on music history, plant propagation, psychology, and nutrition. I speak a little French and I’m currently learning Dutch.
I have qualifications in horticulture, ecotourism management, outdoor recreation, and media and communications. I’ve completed AMEB/ANZCA exams for piano, cello and music theory and since 2013 I’ve been PADI Advanced Open Water Dive certified.

Experience
In recent years I’ve contributed writing and photography to online and print music publications including Holler, DIY Magazine, Ravechild, Americana UK, Lonesome Highway, Highway Queens and The Modern Record, and had my work published in The Independent. To me, live events are irresistibly powerful celebrations of art and community and I relish every opportunity to document and share those experiences.
I’ve been privileged to be able to combine my passions, photographing some of my favourite music festivals around the world including Celtic Connections in Glasgow and Americanafest in Nashville, as well covering artists on tour across the UK, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Ireland and the USA. Experiencing those familiar environments within a different cultural landscape is exciting; it refreshes and renews my love for the diversity of humanity while always reaffirming music as a universal language.
